The Grotto

Considered by many as one of the best cavern dives in the world, this “Must Do” dive site in Saipan is sure to amaze you. the cavernous Grotto attracts divers from around the world. At the bottom of 116 stairs, you encounter a natural pool filled with blue seawater. Once underwater, you’re shown the way by light passing through three horizontal caves that connect to the open sea and direct sunlight from the opening above. From here, there are three different exit holes to the sea. Once outside, there are beautiful walls, swim-throughs, and caves to explore as the “Bat cave”. Turtles and clown triggerfish are some of the many types of sea life to be seen at this magnificient dive site.
