Sail Rock, extraordinary dive site in Koh Tao

Sail Rock dive site, also called Hin Bai is probably the best dive site of the gulf of thailand with Chumphon Pinnacle. The site is located about 2 hours of boat from the island of Koh Tao and about 1 hour from Chaloklum, on the island of Koh Pha Ngan. It consists of a large hollow pinnacle that allows divers to do a nice vertical cave dive through this large natural chimney. The pinnacle emerges at nearly 7 meters above sea level and lies about 22 meters deep. On the reefs, you can see black corals and colorful soft corals, moray eels or scorpions fishes .The site, which lies offshore, is a meeting point for large pelagics. In the blue you can watch plataxes, mackerel, barracudas, snappers and with a little bit of luck, a requins baleines .
