TODI is the first indoor snorkelling and
SCUBA diving centre in Europe where visitors can enjoy the wonder of the underwater
world under optimal and safe conditions. The bespoke indoor dive site holds
colourful, tropical freshwater fish and lifelike decorative elements. Sculpted
from the 19th Century mining silos of Beringen, the gigantic diving
pool is 10 metres deep and 36 metres in diameter. More than 6.2 million litres
of water is filtered professionally at a temperature of 23°C to sustain the
industrial heartbeat of the aquarium’s unique marine life.

TODI houses 30 different species of more than 2,500 fish
and the ecosystem is ever growing! The fish swim, shelter and breed between
evocative decor elements such as caves, mines, car wrecks and even an
underwater café. These well-conceived details make TODI one of the most
surprising diving locations in the world and a best kept year round dive site
in Europe.

As a Mares Test Dive Centre, avid divers can test the
latest SCUBA equipment and attend courses in the brand new school facility.
TODI instructors are highly rated, multi-lingual professionals affiliated with
a range of the top, worldwide training agencies for SCUBA. For divers with
specific requests, the approachable TODI Booking team is able to cater for most
requirements with advanced notice. TODI facilitates a range of private and corporate
events tailored to client requirements at their unique Aquarium.

TODI is aware of accessibility for non-divers too. Multi-level
viewing areas offer a window into the marine world for families to enjoy the
experience dry side. Children meet the free-diving Mermaids weaving through the
superstructures, wave to the recreational divers mesmerized by the myriad of
fish or watch the full face mask underwater walkers on the way to the Tanzanian
